How we Design Exercises

1. Learn about your Organization

We start by reviewing your incident response policies, plans, and documents, and talking to you about your requirements for the exercise.

2. Interview Participants

We meet with key participants, to understand their view on your incident response processes and what the exercise should address.

3. Design a Bespoke Scenario

We design an exercise that is based your organization, and the specific learning outcomes that you want to achieve.

Why Hold a Tabletop Exercise?

Quick to Prepare Tabletop exercises are discussion-based facilitator-led sessions, which revolve around a specific scenario or incident that an organization wants to test. Because there is no simulation or live play elements, they can be created in 4 to 6 weeks.
Bespoke for Your Needs Because tabletop exercises are discussion-based, they can be tailored on a bespoke basis to the specific needs of the organization. An organization can play out a specific scenario or plan, and cater for the priorities and interests of the organization.
Regulatory Compliance Organizations handling sensitive data, or seeking to adhere to common information security frameworks, such as CIS Critical Security Controls, may be required to undertake tabletop exercises to test their incident response processes on a regular basis.
